Determined, or stubborn? Who knows...

A life-long love affair with clay began when Becky sat down at her first potter’s wheel in the 7th grade. She made lots of muddy lumps, but not too many recognizable pots. Undaunted, she resolved to one day become a good potter. Over the 25 years that followed, she took classes, hoarded pottery equipment, and jumped on every clay-related opportunity that came her way. Today, she proudly runs her own ceramics studio in Memphis, TN.

Becky embraces the imperfections in her thrown work and plays it to her advantage in her creative process. Her loose, carefree style and wacky sense of humor gives each one of her “critters” that unique spark of life that makes you grin every time you see them.

Hello, and thanks for stopping by! It's my goal to make sure that your newly acquired ceramic piece arrives in exactly the same shape that I send it out. If you receive anything that is even slightly less-than-intact, I want to know about it so I can
#1: Make Amends
#2: Note the failure so I can take steps to prevent it from happening again

Payment
I accept both PayPal and credit cards. If you live in Tennessee, your purchase will be subject to Tennessee's cringe-worthy 9.25% sales tax.

Should you decide that you made an error in judgement regarding a purchase, I will happily make a refund, minus the Etsy fees, credit card fees and PayPal fees incurred by the transaction. A request to cancel the purchase must be made in writing to me no more than three days after you commit to the purchase. All purchases are considered final after three days have passed, unless the item arrived in a less-than-intact state. (Please see refund policy for details)
Shipping
Prompt delivery is important to me; I ship all my wares USPS Priority so you should get your purchase no more than three days after I indicate that it shipped.

Your new ceramic piece will most likely be in the mail the day after you purchase it (except for Fridays; I ship those on the following Monday.) Should you need faster service, please send me a message and I will adjust my shipping profile to reflect the price of the preferred shipping service. I will respond that day with the modified shipping estimate. The balance of the purchase, including the new shipping estimate, must be paid in full before any Package is mailed.
Refunds and Exchanges
If your new purchase arrives at your doorstep with damage that occurred during shipping, please contact me as soon as possible and include pictures of the damage if you can. I will either refund your purchase, replace your item with a comparable piece in stock, or give you in-store credit so you can come by at a later date and pick your replacement item. I leave the choice up to you, and will accompany the choice with heaps of apologies and hopes that the next time around is much better for all involved.

If the unthinkable occurs and your ceramic piece is lost in the mail, please report it to me immediately and I will either refund your purchase, replace your item with a comparable piece in stock, or give you in-store credit so you can come by at a later date and pick your replacement item. PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for making sure that I receive the correct address to send the package to; if the package gets lost because you entered your address incorrectly I cannot take responsibility for it.

If a package is returned to me because it was addressed incorrectly, I will pay to have it shipped again if the error in addressing stems from negligence on my part.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are accepted and will be processed in the same manner as in-stock orders. Please allow three to four weeks from purchase of your item for it to arrive on your doorstep. I will not accept a custom order until it is 100% paid.
