I LOVE thriftin, pickin & junkin for vintage items like books, paper, cards, silverware, jars, bowls, etc. Taking a book or paper and changing it into envelopes or cards for gifts, invites, thank you's etc makes me happy. Knowing I'm giving someone a one of a kind item and not something bought from any old store gives me joy. I'm not a cookie cutter lover, I don't want to have or give what the mainstream has. I'm always on the look out for the old, beat up, rusty, tarnished, fully loved pieces that I can love on a little more. My soul begs to be creative and I'm all about listening to it!
Disney is in my blood! It's definitely one of my happy places and has been my whole life. Winnie the Pooh is my favorite character with his simple wisdoms, but I also love the spunk of Ariel and of course I ADORE SLINKY :).
