:::BRAIDSTORM::: comenzó oficialmente en 2004.
Siempre me había encantado el aspecto de las trenzas y los temores y me había trenzado varias veces, pero con el cabello largo y lacio, las trenzas eran demasiado difíciles de seguir luciendo limpias, y los temores naturales simplemente no eran algo con lo que pudiera comprometerme. Después de pasar más tiempo dentro de la comunidad alternativa, descubrí el mundo de los temores sintéticos.
Comencé usando hilo de lana y trencé mi propio cabello, luego con el tiempo decidí tratar de hacer mis propios temores sintéticos.... Lo que hice con un SECADOR de pelo (los que saben, ya sabes) !!!!
Con el tiempo hice pavor a mi pareja, luego los amigos me pedían que les peinara, y antes de darme cuenta, recibía pedidos todas las semanas.
En ese momento, los temores suaves eran el estilo popular, pero por curiosidad también aprendí hileras de maíz y trabajé con estilos cibernéticos usando rexlace, micro anillos y tubos. Invertí en un vapor industrial y el negocio creció, ¡nunca estuvo tranquilo! Incluso me reservaron para juegos personalizados y me pagaron el viaje para que yo fuera quien los instalara para mis clientes. Siempre estuve muy agradecido de que la gente valorara mi trabajo lo suficiente como para hacer esto.
En 2007 volví al trabajo de oficina, después de que un intento de mudarme al trabajo de salón no se ajustaba a lo que necesitaba financieramente en ese momento. Sin embargo, mi amor por el cabello sintético y los temores nunca se fueron y ahora he cerrado el círculo y estoy trabajando para mejorar mis habilidades aún más.
Ahora hago pavos de ganchillo, lisos y envueltos, así como el uso de hileras de maíz y micro anillos a pedido.
Soy un perfeccionista y realmente me preocupo por obtener el aspecto correcto para todos mis clientes. Realmente me especializo en mis sets personalizados que son únicos para cada persona
Incluso con mis juegos prefabricados, quiero asegurarme de que lo que compres sea realmente lo que quieres y lo que te conviene. Un cliente feliz vale más en términos de boca en boca que cualquier otra cosa, esto es a lo que siempre apuntaré.

I had always loved the look of braids and dreads and had braids myself a few times, but with LONG straight hair, braids were too difficult to keep looking neat, and natural dreads were just not something I could commit to. After spending more time within the alternative community, I then discovered the world of synthetic dreads.
I started out using wool yarn and braided my own hair, then over time decided to try to make my own synthetic dreads…. Which I made with a HAIRDRYER (those who know - you know)!!!!
Over time I then made dreads for my partner, then friends were asking me to do their hair, and before I knew it, I had orders coming in every week.
At the time smooth dreads were the popular style, but out of curiosity I also taught myself corn rows and worked with cyber styles using rexlace, micro rings and tubing. I invested in an industrial steamer and the business grew - it was never quiet! I was even booked for custom sets and had my travel paid so that I was the one to install them for my customers. I was always very grateful that people valued my work enough to do this.
In 2007 I made a move back into office work, after an attempt to move into salon work didn't fit what I needed financially at the time. However, my love of synthetic hair and dreads never left and now I have come full circle and am working to improve my skills even more.
I now make crochet, smooth and wrapped dreads as well as using cornrows and micro rings on request
I am a perfectionist and truly care about getting the right look for all my clients. I truly specialise in my custom sets which are unique to each person
Even with my pre-made sets, I want to make sure what you buy is truly what you want and what will suit you. A happy customer is worth more in terms of word of mouth than anything else, this is what I will always aim for.
