I stayed in Chuguev. Since there're active military operations, I can't leave the region. Neither stores nor pharmacies work here. I met the war when I was 7 months pregnant. My son Mark was born in May, and today I'm a single mother.

I'm 55 & disabled. Now I'm a refugee in Germany. I lived in Kharkiv on Saltovka, the most destroyed district with a population of 400,000, where there's still shelling. Before my disability, I worked as an accountant. I knit & crochet for BYYA.

We're forced to leave our city because of war. It happened too fast, I didn't even have time to take the knitting needles. We're now in Poland now. I hope we'll be able to return home. And I'll go back to my knitting. Girls, I love you all! Hold on!
