☆☆once your package has been relinquished to the USPS postal service, Babes in VintageLand is not responsible financially or physically for shipments lost during transit or unusual slow arrival☆☆ please read through all the shipment policies and information.

✧buyer pays all shipping costs and all shipping costs are non-refundable; however, I will refund any paid shipping overages to your pay pal account.

-----where does Babes in VintageLand ship?

✧I only ship to confirmed addresses on pay pal.
please make sure your address is at a confirmed status before purchase.

-----how will my purchase be shipped?

✧international & domestic shipments are usually sent in a USPS priority mail flat rate envelope unless the item(s) are too large then we utilize standard USPS priority mail charged by weight. all shipments (domestic & international) that are over $250 will be sent standard USPS priority with signature confirmation.

✧international shipments utilizing a USPS flat rate envelope do not provide
international tracking once the package leaves the continental United States so...... at your discretion, you may wish to change the shipping to standard USPS priority international mail (charged by weight), or USPS express international mail in order to receive full tracking. please message me PRIOR to purchase if you wish to request different shipping, add more insurance, or add signature confirmation so I may adjust the shipping price.

✧some countries have a slower or unpredictable customs process so please allow 3 – 6 weeks for international delivery. I have zero control over how international customs chooses to handle a parcel.

✧international buyers are responsible for any and all duties and custom charges that may be incurred. these are not included in the shipping cost.

✧I will only declare the actual value of an item on a customs form. to do otherwise is illegal. please do not ask. if the customs fees are an issue for you, please do not commit to the purchase.

✧prior to purchase, you may add more insurance, signature confirmation, request standard USPS priority instead of flat rate USPS priority, or change to USPS express shipping. please message me so I may adjust the shipping price.

-----what should I do if a shipment seems slow?

✧occasionally a shipment may experience an unjustified and unexplainable delivery delay or customs hold. the delivery person may neglect to leave proper notification for you. if your parcel does not arrive within the stated USPS delivery time simply go in person to your local post office that has the same zip/postal code as your delivery address, take your parcel tracking number available through pay pal with you, and check if the package is being held there by mistake of delivery person, customs fees, mail person not wanting to leave package at your door, etc...
☆☆☆if you do not at least try to claim and assist in locating your package by going in person to your post office and it is sent back to me officially stamped "UNCLAIMED", I will need to be reimbursed for reshipping. the USPS post office does not offer a refund or "resend for free" option for an unclaimed returned package. I simply can not offer a return in this situation and need to resend the package as an unclaimed package is out of my control.

✧all shipments will not be addressed as lost and we can not file claims until after 6 weeks by policies of the USPS postal service and pay pal.

✧please contact me through Etsy within 36 hours of delivery if you are not completely happy with your purchase. I will do my best to come to fair resolution.

✧returns are not accepted due to size, color variations, vintage condition, shipping issues, change of heart, or fit.

✧vintage items are previously loved so expect some wear consistent with age.
for example:
stitches may loosen after purchase and wear,
occasional loose/missing seam stitches,
missing hook &/or eye closures,
sticky zippers, small faded spots,
little areas of fabric wear or stress etc…

✦✦please do not use trivial imperfections expected with vintage clothing to request a return.

✦✦vintage clothing is not a surrogate for new with tags modern clothing.

✦✦I am very familiar with condition of all items previous to shipment. an item that has been worn, damaged while trying it on, altered in any way, etc... and then returned is very easy for me to recognize and will not be tolerated. not cool and yes, it has happened.

✧I maintain a non-smoking and very clean environment. I do not know the previous environment(s) of a vintage item(s).

reserves are for 100% intent to purchase only
I will reserve an item for 72 hours.
to place a longer reserve requires a non-refundable 20% deposit. please message me to make arrangements.
please do not request a reserve unless you are 100% sure of purchase and payment.

I take great care and time to find, clean, mend, iron, photograph, and price each of my items. items will not be discounted unless I am offering a sale.
