Hi, I’m Bailey! I’ve been working in the Cath Lab since 2017. First in my hometown of Santa Fe, NM, and then for 7 years at the University of Washington Medical Center and I've recently joined Seattle Childrens because congenital heart patients have always been my work passion. At UW it was our ACHD patients and now I get to be with all the babies, the teenagers, and everything in between!
Back in 2020, I wanted a scrub cap with congenital hearts on it, but I couldn’t find anything like it. So with a little help from my grandma and YouTube, I taught myself to sew, designed my own fabric, and made one! For the next two years, I created custom hats for the doctors and staff in my lab, and by 2022 I opened my Etsy shop so other healthcare workers could enjoy unique caps too.
When I’m not in the lab or sewing, you’ll probably find me knitting, weightlifting, hiking in beautiful Washington, or spending time with my corgi, Wolfgang. 🫀💜 Thanks for visiting — I hope you find a scrub cap that makes your workday a little brighter!
