My name is Ed. Recently, I moved from a hectic, city lifestyle to an area surrounded by wetlands and wildlife preserves. Settling in, I would start each day sitting on my patio, cup of coffee in hand, watching and listening to the numerous species of birds and other woodland creatures. I began to notice that observing the animals produced an inner calm in me that I had never before experienced. I started building my nesting houses and feeders as a means of interacting with the wildlife. This brought me such joy that I wanted to share it with others. My company, Back 2 Nature Wood, was born out of that desire. I hand make each item paying special attention to detail. My wood creations are designed to help you get in touch with nature. The naturalist, John Burroughs said, "I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order." And, that is what I hope my wood creations will do for you.
