Additional policies and FAQs
Stoneware pottery care:

All peices are food, mircowave, oven, and dishwasher safe.

To prevent temperature shock to your peice, do not put a cold pot into a hot oven (300 degrees F and above), fill with boiling water, etc. Bring the pot to room temperature, run under warm water, or put it in the oven while preheating before subjecting to high temperatures. Do not put a very hot pot into the freezer, cool to a temperature that you could hold in your hands first. Mild temperature changes will not effect your peice.

The unfinished bottoms of stoneware peices are somewhat porous so if they are left in water for long periods of time, they may soak up some of the moisture. If this happens, clean the bottom well and let air dry overnight to allow the excess moisture to evaporate.
