About

One of a kind, hand crafted Day of the Dead Art, Sculptures, Figurines, Jewelry and more

"It all started when my aunt bought a simple skeleton dog sculpture in Mexico one day. Several light bulbs went off in Tino’s head. He knew he could make an even better one in his own style.

Completely inspired, Tino got straight to work when we got home. The first Bad Dawg was born. One Dawg turned into more, with each one becoming better than its predecessor. Before we knew it, we were invited to feature his work in an art fair. We had a great time and received such positive feedback from everybody that stopped by our table. After the fair, it was clear that we had caught the bug. The inspired artist's bug! Tino began taking commissioned requests to make custom skeleton animals like cats, birds and fish, and of course more Bad Dawgs!

If you have ever worked a table at an Art Fair, you know that the days can be quite long. To keep busy, I started making skeleton fairies. The more I made, the more creative they got, and in turn the more fun I had making them. I eventually started making jewelry to sell at our table alongside the Skeleton Fairies and Tino's revered Skeleton Sculptures.

After making several more sculptures, Skeleton Fairies and Jewelry, there was so much more that we both wanted to try. This lead to figurines. Tino paints the bones and I take it from there, adding the details like flowers and bling.

We are currently working on Troll Dolls, wooden skulls, wall hangings and skeleton necklaces. There will be Day of the Dead Christmas ornaments in the future. We love trying new things so if there is something you want us to make dead that you don't see in our shop, please send us a message and we'll get right on it! Keep watch on our shop, you just never know what will turn up Dead!" - Mary Montoya

Art has always been a part of my life. I enjoy creating murals and drawings for fun, friends or anytime I have free time. I see the world with an artist’s eye, always seeing the beauty in everything.

I was always in the kitchen creating recipes, but the more successful Tino became the more involved I got in art. So out of the kitchen and into the studio! I now split my time between the two and enjoy the creativity of both ventures.
