After almost 15 years of working in my families bridal business, hand crafting custom made gowns, I turned my hand to making vintage/rockabilly inspired clothing after struggling to find original items in my size which suited my style.
I work full time from my spare room in a lovely little village in Yorkshire.
Everything you see had been hand made by yours truly and is made either as a one off or in very limited quantities in order to retain individuality.
Badly Behaved Betty was officially launched in 2011 and I am glad to say, has been very well received.
Our mission in life is very simple, create well made dresses and accessories, from high quality materials at an affordable price
We don’t do gimmicks or pinup girl logos here at Betty HQ
We are all about you and your inner pinup girl; we’re all about helping you find your very own Badly Behaved Betty regardless of your size, shape, style or stature.
Delivery costs are based on sending orders first class via the Royal Mail/Post Office.
All delivery cost are set standard Royal Mail prices and do include the cost of packaging.
Unlike some sellers our delivery cost are not hidden in the price of our products.
Items can be sent recorded/next day/special delivery however this will incur an increase in the cost. Please let me know before placing your order if you require super speedy delivery as p&p costs will have to be altered.
Depending on your order, items will be packaged as follows.
Full circle dresses with fitted netting: Pressed, folded, wrapped in tissue paper, boxed and wrapped in brown paper.
Full circle without netting/wiggle dresses: Pressed, folded, wrapped in tissue paper and packaged in a pink postage (jiffy) bag.
Accessories: Folded, wrapped in tissue paper and wrapped in brown paper.
All items (excl accessories) will include a free dress bag to store your new dress and a receipt of purchase for your records
Refunds and Exchanges
Unfortunately due to its nature, each dress is made on an individual basis, therefore we do not offer refunds on items which are made to order or custom made.
We apologies if this causes issue with regards to an order but please bare this in mind when considering ordering with us.

Made to Order V's Custom Made
Made to order;
As a small business we only make one sample dress for each design. This means once an item is listed we make each dress when an order is placed. Each dress is made in a generic size and vary little alteration is made.
We do take custom orders and we can make dresses to a customers specific measurments and requirments i.e. size, colours and pattern variations.
Custom work is NOT the same as made to order as custom work involves more time in making and altering the design/pattern and is charged at a higher price.
Please bare in mind with regards to custom made dresses, we will endevour to meet all your needs and requirments given the information provided by the customer; however, although we endevour to make sure your new custom fit dress fits perfectly, it may, on occasion, require additional alteration up on receipt.
