Hello and Welcome! My name is Alexa & I am the owner and founder of Deer Creek Cottage. My journey with artisan goods all began when I became involved in pairing essential oils with my spiritual and self-guided healing. I began expanding the ways that aromatherapy could benefit me and others, beyond topical application and direct inhalation, and thus found love in making home made goods to share! I use a combination of 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils, and fragrance oils - essential oils are wonderfully natural but for some products they are better suited in their whole form instead of being burned or mixed. My candles are primarily Fragrance as they throw off a stronger scent and essential oils are much too volatile to be used with heat and flame. I additionally use dried herbs and flowers to add a natural healing vibration to many of my products. I also recycle and repurpose all of my vessels, often using supplies that are to be disposed of and instead turning them into fragrant and wonderful goods!
