I practice buddhist meditation and use my mala every day. I used wooden, semi-precious stone malas, but finally I found amber. And amber mala became simple, but beautiful addition to my practice. I recommend it to you too :)

Arijus is optician and so he has sharp eye, it's professional habbit to be precise :) He checks each and every mala - proportions and quality of beads. He believes that everything connected with buddhism has to be perfect. So - amber malas as well.

Additional policies and FAQs
1) is it real amber?
Yes, it is real Baltic amber.
2) are the photos of mala colour edited?
No, we use natural sunlight and camera :) but the colours in the pictures might look slightly different because of colour schemes in our e-device. We are not professional photographers, but we try to do our best to capture the real colour of amber mala. And if you would like more pictures of the mala (to see the colour in a different light, from a different angle), please, let us know.
3) why amber beads have "dust", "particles", "scratches" inside?
Well, because it is natural parts of amber which is - in fact - 40 mln. years old pine resin found in blue clay in Baltic sea. Those particles are probably turf, sand, microscopic particles of plants. Follow the link to find more about amber colours: www.amber108.com
4) what are recommendations - how to use amber mala?
Amber is still breathing and interacting with the environment, so the amber colour may change over time, this is expected and contributes to the unique, intensely individual nature of amber.
To clean your amber mala, use a soft flannel cloth dampened with clean lukewarm water. You should dry your amber, lightly polish with clear olive oil, and then remove any excess oil and restore the polish with another soft cloth.
Remember to be careful when cleaning or wearing amber mala - amber is a soft gemstone and can be scratched.
