CURRENT STUDIO WORK SCHEDULE AND DELIVERY TIME:
WE ARE CURRENTLY SCHEDULING FOR THE WEEK OF December 26th, 2016
Our studio work schedule is pretty full but can vary during a year. Right now we are running about 4 weeks - this represents the time from when an order is placed, put on our schedule, and when it gets finished and is ready to ship out.

The reason this scheduling wait time is what it is, is because we decided that we wanted to design and hand finish each and every piece, in studio, ourselves, to ensure its integrity.

When orders are received we always confirm with you the date we intend to finish your work (see the scheduling week above). Orders will always ship on that date, or sooner. Then please allow for mail time. Mail time may vary depending on your location. If near the west coast, mail time has been running around 2-3 days. If near the east coast, mail time can be 3-4 days. But please also note mail times are not certain and not guaranteed. We cant be responsible for delays in mailing time. Also, please double check that the shipping address provided to us is indeed the address you wish to receive at (there have been a few past instances of error in this matter)

Please contact us for any reason in which we can assist you. We always return messages, happily.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Payment
All payment runs through PayPal. With PayPal you can pay using your credit or debit card, e-check, or your existing PayPal account.
Shipping
Shipping is USPS Priority Mail with tracking and insurance - tracking and insurance are mandatory. Your rings are important and valuable, we want to be sure they get there. This is for all of the 50 United States. Priority delivery time is roughly 2-4 days depending on which side of the country you are located; about 2-3 if on the west side; up to 3-4 if on the east side.

Outside of the United States we have found there are few affordable options. As a standard shipping profile for any international delivery, we will ship USPS Express International. With USPS Express International, we are able to track the package. Other USPS methods will not have tracking, while Fed-Ex or UPS are three times the cost and cannot be insured.

Note to international purchasers: We cannot know every country's import duties and customs rules related to them. We must assume that you already are aware of any duty that may be due at the time of arrival into your country. Our insurance requires us to ship at full value. We are not allowed to decrease that value to slip under the radar of any duty amount. The amount paid for shipping is the actual cost of just shipping plus insurance - it does not include any customs duties.

Also, please note shipping times are not certain and not guaranteed. We cant be responsible for delays in shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
All of our work is guaranteed for quality and workmanship. We put as much information as possible in our listings and all pieces are exactly as represented. And if you have any questions at all, please feel comfortable asking. We are very happy talking about our work. If we did something wrong in making your ring, we most certainly will correct it immediately.

Orders may be cancelled at full refund, up to 20 days from date the order was placed. After the initial 20 days, orders may be cancelled up 20 days prior to the ship date we provided, for a 50% refund. There are no refunds for orders that are in process of finishing or have already been shipped. This is why: Each piece of jewelry is carefully handmade, one at a time, to order. Rings are made specific to finger size. We are a small studio, just my wife and myself. We just cannot absorb loss of labor, loss of time in conversation, and unrecoverable expenses from Etsy fees, PayPal fees, and shipping expense and supply. And perhaps even more important, I cannot in good conscience, take a ring back, re-size it, and then sell it as new to another customer. I believe customer trust is critical. Especially with wedding jewelry.

We cannot be responsible for allergic reactions to metals. We assume you are already aware of your own ability to wear a specific metal.

We also recognize that we are booked out quite a ways in advance. We thank all our customers, and everyone willing to wait for us to make your order. Please understand the time frame before ordering, and be willing to be patient. We are on-time with our promised finished dates, and we believe you will be thouroughly satisfied with our work once it gets to you. Thank you for your understanding of this.
Additional policies and FAQs
RING SIZING:
We respectfully request that with ring orders, you PLEASE DO NOT use on-line ring sizing methods of any kind. Paper sizers that can be printed from web sites are notoriously inaccurate. It is always best to have your finger sized using metal ring sizers.

Ring re-sizing or size adjustments can be done for a nomimal charge plus postage and insurance.. Please contact us for more information and a cost estimate.

Strong encouragment... dont wear your jewelry in hot tubs. Chemicals cause nasty things to happen.

JEWELRY CARE
As with anything of value ,fine jewelry also requires some special care to maintain its beauty.
Avoid exposing your jewelry to salt water, perfumes or hair spray, and chemicals such as cleaning solutions. These substances may erode the luster of gems and etch into metals. Swimming pool chlorine, and hot tub chemicals, especially will do nasty things to silver, gold and most all gemstones.
While sapphire and diamond are very hard and durable, they can still be scratched, chipped or broken. Silver is a softer metal compared to gold, and could be bent. It is best to avoid wearing rings during rough work or strenuous activity. This will help avoid loosening a stone setting , scratching or misshaping a ring.
To clean, use a soft toothbrush with warm, slightly soapy water. Rinse well. Do not use off-the-shelf cleaning solutions or ultrasonic cleaners. Many of our designs are oxidized so avoid bleach as it will gradually remove the oxidation.
With this simple awareness, your jewelry will remain beautiful for a very long time.

FAQ's - Frequently Asked Questions...

- THE LISTING SAYS ITS "AVAILABLE", CAN I ORDER THAT ONE? Etsy does not give us a way to state "Made To Order" on the listing page. We can only list as "available". Unless specifically mentioned in the text of our listing that a ring is ready to ship, all of what we make is made to order and is scheduled to be made in the order received. Our work schedule is posted at the top of this page.

- DO YOU DO RUSH ORDERS, EVEN FOR A FEE? We have found that it is very difficult to determine who's rush need is more important than someone else's. We believe that everyone's order is equally important. So we do not take rush orders.

- CAN YOU SHIP AT A CHEAPER RATE? It is extremely important that all items be shipped with tracking and insurance. At this time the best, surest, and least expensive method, that allows for tracking and recoverable insurance, is USPS. The Postal Service recently adjusted pricing, especially international rates up 30%. We have no control over these costs.

- CAN I MAKE PAYMENTS? We are not set up to facilitate payment arrangements. Our studio is only a wife-husband business and time is critical to getting your order completed as promised. We do not want to add extra cost to our jewelry to account for the extra book keeping this would require.

I HAVE MY OWN DIAMOND. WILL YOU SET IT? We do not set customer stones, and there are a dozen reasons why. Most of all, the risks we assume when taking something that does not belong to us, and insure its security. But other reasons have to do with a stone's suitability to be mounted. Such as existing chips or breaks, dangerous inclusions, and appropriate size or shape. We do not sell our mountings without stones.

DO YOU USE RECYCLED METALS? Yes, all of our gold and silver is recycled.

ARE YOUR GEMS CONFLICT-FREE? It is impossible to trace an exact location of origin for any gemstone, including diamond. It is possible however, to know general specifics, such as country of origin, and from time to time, a regional location. With that information, we source our stones with the highest intention of staying clear of any known conflict issues. In most cases, we know personally, persons who source direct. We work closely with cutters and gemologists who have sworn to abide by ethical mining, and supply practices.
