All designs are original, created by the shop owner (me!) - as such, I own the copyrights on everything I design. I love to work with people on custom orders, to hear your ideas and work with you to bring them to life! Quick shipping is key - I know you're anxious to get your item(s) ASAP. All items, whether finished/assembled or make-it-yourself kits are created/processed in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.

Accepted payment methods

Paypal Visa Mastercard American Express Discover Giftcard

Returns and exchanges
No refunds once items have been shipped. Store credit only once shipped items have been returned - requires advanced approval.
In stock items are shipped based on payment method:

> Direct creidit card payment - shipped same or next business day after payment has cleared
Custom items and large quantities are shipped ASAP - we will convo on time needed to make items and deadlines when you need them.

Shipping costs include packaging, postage and delivery confirmation (so I know you got what you ordered). If actual shipping costs are less than what is charged, the excess will be refunded to you. This may happen when you order multiple items and/or for international orders*.

Unless otherwise specified, finished products are shipped in corrugated boxes; kits are shipped in sturdy photo mailers or padded envelopes.

* I can't believe how expensive it is to ship to some countries - sometimes the shipping costs more than the item!. I will include little extras in international orders to make up for that expense.
Additional policies and FAQs
I would like to share information about copyrights on original designs so you can understand and hopefully honor my rights. All of us who sell our original designs and products work diligently to create them. Our creations are our intellectual property as certainly as our cars, TVs, etc. are our personal property and our homes are our real property.

Most people understand patents on physical items - online (and written, artistic expression, speeches, etc.) content is copyrighted to achieve the same protection. It takes as much knowledge, expertise, ingenuity and effort to create a web page or design a craft item as it does to come up with a "better mousetrap", so to speak. If you search Etsy Help for "copyright", you will find much information on the subject.

There is a lot of content on the web that is marked as free and there is some content that is in the "public domain" - both can be downloaded and used as you like. But, for instance, Disney characters are definitely out as is the use of "LEGO" - my son got an email explaining that he could use the LEGO-trademark word only once in a listing ("made from real LEGO-trademark bricks") and not in the title - he has to call his creations brick ornament, brick jewelry, etc., it has to be in uppercase with the trademark symbol, he must include a disclaimer that he is not affiliated with the company and a few other restrictions.

I offer DIY kits so people can make many of the items they like, either to enjoy the creative process and/or to save money. Some people do offer patterns and instructions, usually with limited use, e.g., for personal use only. I don't offer the instructions without a purchase because those interested would need the cut pieces and most people don't have the machines to do the precision cutting involved.
