Much like a medieval bestiary is a collection of real and fantastical animals, Bardic Bestiary is a group of artists who bring these creatures to life and help otherswithin the costuming community, weaving in elements of fantasy, folklore, and adventure stories to make an entertaining and unique experience; an “unusual [and] whimsical collection” of costumes and creations.

Returns and exchanges

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
By ordering from Bardic Bestiary you agree that you understand the style of our work. No refunds or returns will be given if the product matches the description and pictures on-site.

Clearance/faulty items are considered "on sale" items and cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you receive your item and there is something wrong with it, even a small problem, please let us know! Sometimes while in the middle of working we fail to see imperfections in the items. If the piece has a fault that we missed, we will happily replace it for you.

Refunds may be given on a case by case basis depending on the situation, please contact us through Etsy if you have any concerns.
Payment
If you find for some reason that you must cancel your order, please let us know as soon as possible, and we will cancel it. However, if we have already completed production of your order before you ask for a cancelation, we will not be able to cancel it, as the work has already been done.
Shipping
PLEASE allow a 3 week turnaround time for custom orders.

For US customers:
We understand that shipping and mail-carriers (as well as ourselves) make mistakes, and it's not the customer's fault. If you receive your product and it is damaged or irreparable, you may return it and we will send you a replacement at no extra cost. You can receive one replacement per order (the original order arrives to you broken, you send it back, and we send you a new one. If that new one also arrives broken I will not be able to replace the replacement, sorry!)

For international customers:
We understand that shipping and mail-carriers (as well as ourselves) make mistakes, and it's not the customer's fault. If you receive your product and it is damaged or irreparable, you may return it; however depending on the size of your order you will have to pay postage for us to send you a new product. For anything $15 and under shipping cost, we will pay it. For over $15, it's the customers responsibility to pay postage. Please keep this in mind when making big orders internationally.
International customers must also keep in mind that their item may be subject to import fees in their country. The buyer is responsible for researching these fees and paying them to receive their package. Please also note that it may take some time for your package to get through customs, sometimes as long as a month depending on the country.

If you haven't received your order more than a month after it was shipped, please check your tracking information and then contact us! We insure all domestic orders over $20, and all international orders.

For anybody, if your package is returned to us, I will charge you the shipping price once more to get it back to you, since it was a mistake on your end for either not claiming it or giving the wrong address initially. If you do not respond to our messages for this within a month, we will have to cancel and relist the affected items, no refunds given.

If the damaged item was on clearance or discount, we will not replace it for you; however, you can exchange it for another item(s) of equal or lesser value in the store.

Some of the resins and plastics we use are very rigid and can cause parts to be cast with very sharp edges, or sharp edges to be created when modifying or cutting the product. Please use your best judgement when working with these products. These are meant to be worked upon by adults or under adult supervision; we will not be held responsible for injuries sustained from these products.

Reproduction and redistribution of our products is strictly forbidden. Do not make molds, cast or remake our products for personal use or resell.
