I love writing poetry as a guide to the sacred heart and to the mystic within. I “bare my soul” as an example of healing, growth, and expansion. My journey has included walking in my own darkness due to the tragic loss of my husband who was killed in action in the Iraq war over a decade ago. This event catapulted me onto a journey of self-realization, spiritual awakening, and alignment with my sacred heart to include numerous career changes from a military officer, civil/environmental engineer, a licensed clinical social worker to a writer, author, poet, and mystic. I want to inspire others to be a poet of their own healing.

My poetry explores the wisdom of mother nature, being human, healing, awakening, growth, and expansion. I published a book of poems, "Into the Darkness, Become the Light", which is a poetic memoir spanning about 19 years. My current endeavor are these poetry greeting cards which feature more recent poems and my photographs with a creative spin.

My poetry is continually evolving and expanding. Poetry guides me within, offers direct access to my authentic divine self, inner knowing, and the mystic within.

It is my hope these poems and photographs speak to your heart, sparks your own inner light, and guides you within.
