Fabulous original artwork created from Mardi Gras beads. I feel like I have a Deep South of my very own here in Oxford (UK). Great communication with Peggy who has created something really special that I will treasure

About

Mardi Gras beads, Art, Vivid colors, and a Love to Create!!!

A large sunflower and a huge pile of Mardi Gras beads is what began my story here on Etsy! After creating a large sunflower for myself and hanging on my wall, friends told me, "You need to sell these"!

Growing up in New Orleans was an exciting adventure! There was always something to see and do! Fascinated by all of the AMAZING colors, sights, sounds, and smells of the city, has always left me with a desire to create!

Welcome! Come on in and look around! My goal is to create something that makes you happy!

My name is Peg. I have recently retired as an elementary classroom teacher. I have always had a love for creating things. In the classroom, that was part of the "fun" of being there!
Retiring has given me more time to create, work in the yard, exercise, cook, read, etc.
I am drawn to the idea of "upcycle". The idea of making something useful or beautiful from something that might wind up in the trash is very gratifying for me.
