Very cool art piece. I'd have used it on the table, but it doesn't lie completely flat so I've put it up on the wall with my plant shelves.

About

Wood Carvings and Baby Blankets

My shop was originally an outgrowth of my passion for carviing wood especially found and recycled wood. After an absence of several years I am re-opening my shop with a partner. I will be sharing the space in my shop with my wife who is an expert sewer with many, many years of experience. She will be offering her hand-made, exquisitely conceived and sewed quilts. Keep an eye on this shop, her quilts will soon be on display.

I've been carving wood for almost a decade. It is how I express and interpret the world around me. I find the many colors, grains, and simple beauty of natural wood fascinating.

My wife and I have been renovating our home for the passed decade, one room at a time. I have kept some of the wood because the wood is well over fifty years old and I like to use recycled wood from our house.
