We are a mother daughter team working out of Southern California. Our Etsy store started as a way to fund raise for Zoe's 8th grade trip to Costa Rica. While in Central America her group volunteered in the city of Turrialba. They worked in a school with elementary students for much of the time, and then spent the rest of the time sight seeing in the rain forest.

The amount of money that needed to be raised was extremely daunting, it almost seemed impossible for a single artist mom and a 13 year old, but with a lot of hard work, support from the Etsy community, and a good number of craft fairs we made it happen. Thanks!

We decided to keep running the shop because it was a lot of fun. All of the proceeds now go toward a college fund for Zoe.
