One minute I was tinkering and the next minute people were buying. I figured I needed to get organized and set up a handmade jewelry shop. So Be A MaGiK LaMP Jewelry was "born" in early 2015.

As Be A MaGIK LaMP has grown it has taught me that each and every customer has their own very personal story, and they want that story reflected in their jewelry choices. You'll see that we have lots of personalized options, one of our most popular being the Portuguese Ring, or Seven Day Ring, in either solid silver or solid 14k gold. I am really proud of my twist on the stacking craze because these rings give my customers the ability to tell a story, and I make certain the quality is unsurpassed. More than anything, I am delighted when a client decides to share a part of their lives with me. I feel I have gained many true friends merely as a result of creating a personal piece of jewelry for them. What an unexpected fringe benefit to opening a shop on Etsy!

I am self taught and relish the act of melting metal with fire. I work with 925 Sterling silver and mostly 14k Gold (though some 18k as well). Montana Sapphires, Opals, Tourmaline, natural Turquoise, and Morganite are some of my favorites to design with but every stone has unique meaning and power. It is my bliss to create with metal and stone and am truly honored when someone chooses to wear one of my pieces.

My shop's name reflects my belief that we are on this earth to be a force for good, create beauty and shine our God-given light. So the jewelry I make provides the shimmer to reflect your inner light. Specifically, the name Be A MaGiK LaMP is a play on the names of all the pets (my own personal "magic lamps") I've been privileged to belong to in my life:
