Designs created on peyote graphs can be rotated to stitch as brick stitch. I prefer the brick stitch method for weaving irregularly shaped designs.

For new beaders, I suggest starting at the longest/widest row, closest to the center of the project. You can leave a long tail if you want to use the same thread to stitch the opposite side of the pattern. Some people like to start at the top or bottom edge. You can give that a try as well. Do what works best for you. There is no right or wrong way to bead.
