5 out of 5 starsI have not yet received them. The stars were to get your attention. Kindly track and let me know
I am a lampwork bead artist and when I make beads and buttons, I aim to be original in my designs, and love to mix colours and add silver, copper, enamel and anything else that will go with glass. I absolutely love glass frit and use a huge amount as nearly all of the beads are made with frit. I buy an awful lot of frit and thought that it would be a good idea to open and Etsy shop so that I could share my frit and frit blends with others.
All of the frit in my shop is made from premium glass, by manufacturers, including, Gaffer, Reichenbach, Kugler and Effettre. All of the frit blends in my shop have been hand blended by me and are made from glass CoE 92-96 and are suitable for use on glass CoE 90-104, when used in small amounts such as 5%, or in any amount when using on glass with the same or similar CoE.
Many of my frit blends are made from grain size K1, however this size can very between manufacturers. Some of my frit blends are made from varying grain sized frit as I like to be a little different, in this case, it is important to mix up the frit well before use.
COE
Reichenbach 94 (+/-2)
Gaffer 96
Kugler 96
Effetre 104
To give an idea of what the frit looks like, I have made some sample paddles and beads using some of the frit and frit blends in my Etsy shop, however, different torch settings and different color glass bases may change the look and colors of the frit.
Please note: occasionally glass can vary in colour between batches, at times this can be really noticeable. However, even if the glass in different batches may appear to look a different colour, when melted each batch should look the same. Also, on occasions, different batches of frit from the same manufacturer can vary in grain size.
When taking photographs I aim to capture the true colours of the frit and frit blends; however, at times it can be difficult to capture the exact colors.

Payment
I accept payment by cheque for UK customers only; please note that the frit can only be dispatched once the cheque has cleared.
Shipping
Most of the frit and frit blends in my shop are packed and ready to go. I aim to ship items within 1-3 days of payment being received.
Additional policies and FAQs
On January 1, 2019, Germany’s Packaging Act (VerpackG) came into effect, imposing requirements on online retailers (including Etsy shops) selling to buyers in Germany. The Packaging Act promotes recycling and reuse of packaging materials (e.g. cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap).
My company Beadbug is registered with LUCID, which is the Packaging Register of the Stiftung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Foundation Central Agency Packaging Register – ZSVR). My LUCID registration number is: DE4441178261374
Producers/distributors pay a license fee to the dual system for the collection, sorting and recycling of the packaging they introduced to the market. My Dual System partner is Activate by Reclay.
Please recycle when you can. Thank you
The glass frit in my Etsy shop is for lampwork, flamework and bead making use, to be used as a design feature on beads and buttons etc. The frit can also be used in glass fusing, glass blowing and some customers have successfully used it with pottery, ceramics and enamel work. The frit is made from glass and should be kept away for children. When using glass frit, it is important to wear a mask as the dust produced may be potentially dangerous when inhaled. The frit may be a different CoE from the base glass that you use; it is suitable for use on base glass of 90 - 104 CoE when using approximately 5%. When using the frit with glass of a CoE 94-96, any amount can be used. An important tip is to make a test bead to ensure there are not incompatibility issues.
