It is as beautiful as it was in the picture and it is as soft and warm as I had imagined! This is a wonderfully designed and crafted shawl! The seller was also lovely adding a nice smelling jasmine sachet that I look forward to using in my closet. Simply beautiful and well done for customer service! Speedy delivery as well.

my inspiration

Non Stop knitting on the mountain top

Located in what's referred to locally as Bear Hollow, right along the Appalachian Trail amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains. I love to try out new yarns and new techniques and like all things - some things work and some things not so much. However, I just can't seem to stop knitting. in 2020 I boxed up all my hats, scarves, and shawls and sent them up to MI in December for my brother to distribute to the homeless. It was at this time my niece encouraged me to open an Etsy shop - so we'll see how this goes. Since then, I have continued to give extra hats and scarves to people in need, one year went to strictly homeless veterans in the DC area.
. So remember, your purchase isn't used to make me rich or to pay my bills but to knit winter wear for the homeless or people in need!. Your purchase is appreciated by many.
In 2024 my goal is to make lap blankets for hospice patients and/or assisted living persons.
