This is my second purchase from this seller and I couldn't be happier! All of the soaps smell incredible. They have a great lather, and leave my skin feeling soft and clean. I highly recommend all of her soaps. I will certainly be back to buy more.

About

All natural soap for all natural people.

We live and create at Half Dime Homestead.

A small suburban lot + big agricultural ideas = handmade soap with all natural ingredients that incorporate additives and botanicals from my herb and kitchen gardens.

Goat milk from local goats, felted soaps using wool from farmer's who live and work just up the street from us. We are small in scale yet mighty in intention.

Our soap is made in small batches using ingredients that are as ethical and local as possible. Some soap making oils and butters have to be sourced from far away, as I can't seem to figure out how to grow coconut and olive trees in our soggy boggy Northwest!

We are committed to soap that is free from detergents, parabens, pthalates, and preservatives of any kind. Our belief is that handmade soap should be pure and natural and joy to wash with - and should be gentle on the environment as well. All that washes away in the shower eventually winds up in our drinking cup and on our crops. We believe that all natural soap is the best choice for everyone!

WHY should you buy from us?

Every bar of soap you buy helps us get one step closer to realizing our dream of living on our own land, having our daughter learn about nature from her back stoop and not from a book, and living seasonally. Some lucky patch of land will welcome us as it's stewards and we will get there step by step with your help and hard work.

Thank you for supporting small businesses with your purchases!

Hello! Thanks for visiting the shop! I'm so glad you did.

I started making soap and bath products as a way to live a bit simpler, with less chemicals and less reliance on the industrial beauty supply industry.

My shop philosophy is to offer good products at affordable prices that actually work and are a pleasure to use. I spend most of my time perfecting my own recipes and strive to only use all natural ingredients, as locally and ethically sourced as possible.

All products are made in small batches in a sterile environment. I am keen on producing soap and other bath products that I would buy myself (and have, in the past) and try every day to make my soap relevant and interesting.

I call my style of soap making "blue jeans" soap making - meaning I want to create the bar of soap that people return to again and again as a favorite and tried and true - like a good pair of blue jeans.
