Hello, my name is Kevin and I'm an...uh...artist...... ALMOST said something different there!
(I'm weird.... sorry....)
Anywho, I have LOVED to draw ever since I was a wee one. Whenever my mom needed me to shut up and quit bugging her, all she did was hand me a piece of paper and pencil and ask me to draw something!
(If ever she found herself without pencil and paper, the leash sufficed...)
Yes, I am and always have been a tortured and downtrodden artist. Sad face...
(I have actually always loved my life, but I'm told I won't fit into the artist community without being depressed, so just play along, ok?)
I used to get into trouble in school because my notebooks were FILLED with doodles and very rarely had any coherent note taking.
(That bit is actually true)
Despite my best efforts, I made it through school and even took a year of Graphic Design at Antonelli College in downtown Cincinnati.
(No, I didn't finish. No I didn't get a degree. Yes, I learned LOTS of cool stuff! Yes, it was TOTALLY worth it!)
At Antonelli, a sweet hippy lady teacher was able to fine tune my drawing a bit, and from there I went out into the world seeking lovers of drawing!
(You know, so I could draw for them and stuff...)
Bearded Artist made its first appearance on Facebook in 2012. It started with posting a photo of a memorial drawing of my girlfriend's father and slowly grew from there!
(That girl and I are now married and REALLY STINKIN' HAPPY!)
After building my Facebook page, doing several in person art shows, and actually winning a "Best in Show" at one of them, starting an Etsy page was the next logical step!
(See! Some artists CAN use logic! Just don't ask me to read a map...)
The Bearded Artist Etsy store is for people who would like to buy original graphite pencil fan art, prints of that art, or get their own custom graphite artwork.
A drawing or print can capture and enhance special moments in life and makes for a precious keepsake anyone will enjoy!

Custom and personalized orders
I am open and willing to make any custom orders you can imagine come to life! Kids, pets, weddings, memorials, fan art, and anything you ask can be drawn!
Base prices: (tax not included)
(prices may vary depending on detail!!)
8x10 - $350
11x14 - $650
16x20 - $1100
All drawings come with a basic black frame. I ask for half payment to start and half on completion of the drawing.
Send photos to kevin@beardedartist.net in the highest resolution possible and I'll take it from there (the clearer the picture, the better the drawing will turn out).
Sizing details
The small size is 8.5x11" or Document Size.
The large size is either 11x14 or 11x17 depending on the format in which the original drawing was completed.
The Limited Edition sizes depend on the size of the original drawing.

Care instructions
Original Pencil Drawings should be stored under museum glass to minimize UV damage to the paper and graphite. Your local framer is the suggested method.
