Super fast shipping, and the picture is perfect! I put it in a fancy frame to give it to my mom (an artist and possum lover) for her birthday!

About

Beautiful Animal Stories

Olivia Beaumont is best known for her oil paintings of richly dressed animal characters. She was born in Long Beach, California and now lives in a small town near Savannah, Georgia.
In 2016 she published her first children’s book, "Tales from the Beautiful Mountain", which she authored and illustrated.
Olivia’s paintings are full of historical art references. Her use of Renaissance themes, Golden age painting techniques, and costumes borrowed from history’s nobility transport viewers into an Old World. Her portraits have been described by curators as haunting and soulful. Her intent is to invite the viewer into an enchanted world, while striking human chords of wonder, beauty, and humor.

Shipping
I use USPS as well as UPS for occasional large packages. If you have a preference you may specify. Trips to the post office are made daily, excluding weekends.

Ever so rarely something gets lost in the mail for a few weeks. So inconvenient! Please let me know if your order seems delayed so that I can assess how to re-convenience things for you.

CUSTOM ITEMS:
Turn-around time varies on custom paintings. Check the listing for the "maximum waiting period". If you have a larger painting in mind than what is listed, convo me for a quote. Please realize that even the maximum wait times listed are general and each customer is responsible for contacting me if you have a deadline in mind.

Please be prepared for the possibility of extended wait time on oil paintings. For instance, paint dries slower in the winter.

That being said, I will always do my best to meet your deadline, and to communicate with you about the best way to satisfy your needs . Your shipping costs on a custom oil painting will include insurance for the full price you paid.

If you absolutely must place a rush order, you will be responsible for paying a minimum additional payment of $100.00 which is the cost of overnight shipping on small paintings.
Refunds and Exchanges
I take great care to please with each and every order. If you feel otherwise, please let me know!

Refund and Return Policy: I will issue a full refund for the purchase price of any painting or print if you are not completely satisfied. (Good for 60 days, excludes shipping)

In other cases, such as with child portraiture or material that may not be resold due to its custom made nature, I will issue a 70% refund. (Good for 60 days, excludes shipping)

Cancellations for custom orders:
After down payment, you may request that I do a preliminary "cartoon". This is usually a pencil sketch that shows the borders, cropping, and basic layout of the planned painting. An image of the "cartoon" will be emailed to you for approval. If you would like to make changes to the composition, this would be the time to make that request. I will do up to three revisions. After you have agreed to the sketch, no cancellations may be made thereafter.

FAQ

Q: How can I trust my order for a fine art custom painting will come out looking great?
A: Before I start a painting you may request to see a preliminary sketch and make comments. To tweak it perfectly to your personal taste, I am happy to do up to 3 revisions! You may also contact me to send photos of progress on the work.

Q: I do not have the perfect photo of my pet/child/loved one. Will my custom portrait still look professional?
A: Yes! It is impossible to take the perfect photograph. I will blend the best features of several photos to make the perfectly composed portrait that will outlast all of your photos. So go ahead, tell me which photo has your favorite smile, or your favorite eyes. To ensure that this comes together seamlessly, I reference anatomy constantly as I compose.
