Announcement   I make functional, wheel thrown stoneware pottery in Seagrove, NC, and out of my own shop in Trinity. Salt glazed pottery and pottery soup bowls and mugs are what I'm best known for! My pottery is fired in a traditional, wood fired, salt groundhog kiln or in my own electric kiln. I make a variety of traditional forms like jugs, crocks, and pitchers, as well as miniatures of these full size traditional pots. I turn a variety of functional pottery including, dinnerware, vases, sugar bowls, honey pots, utensil holders, and serving bowls. I use many different colors of glaze, but really love the earthy colors and the salt glaze the best!
All the pottery seen in the listings is ready to ship! I photograph each piece as it's completed, so the pottery in the photo is the actual pottery that you can purchase!
I will be happy to set up a wedding registry for you! Just message me and I can set up a personal section for you that your friends and family can purchase from.

Want to see my pottery? I have pottery at Luck's Ware in Seagrove, NC as well as the Roasted Coffee Depot in Graham, NC near the courthouse! Thanks!

Prompt delivery and looked exactly as advertised. Gorgeous mug! The only downside is that it was slightly smaller than expected, it only holds about 10.5 oz comfortably and was supposed to be a 12 oz cup. However, since it is a hand made piece of pottery I'm not too worried about it.

My shop is currently in my backyard, which allows me more time to turn and finish my pottery. I learned how to make pottery in 1995 in Seagrove, NC, from Sid Luck, who is a 5th generation potter. All pottery listings are ready to ship-what you see in the photos is the actual pottery you are purchasing! No waiting 3-4 weeks for shipping!

Frequently asked questions

Is your pottery nontoxic and lead free?

Yes! My pottery doesn't contain any lead or other minerals that would make my pottery unsafe for daily use.

Custom and personalized orders

I make all my glazes using recipes from other potters, online, books, and trial and error. I do not purchase any premixed glazes.

Custom and personalized orders

Absolutely! These jugs are made and fired just as they would have been in the 1800s. They were fired hot enough for the clay to vitrify, so they will hold liquid.

Custom and personalized orders

Yes, I do make dinnerware for special orders. Dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, cups, mugs, serving pieces, or whatever you'd like to include in your set.
