What should I do if my order is damaged in shipping?
I am extremely careful when packaging to make sure your items arrive in perfect condition, but occasionally damage can occur. If this happens, please contact me within 3 days of delivery of your order. Take photos of the damage and also photos of the damaged shipping boxes. This will help me to make a claim with the shipping company and will expedite me being able to get you a replacement item.
Returns
If an item is listed as returnable and you return the item, you're responsible for the cost of return shipping; and if the item shipped with free shipping, the actual cost of the original shipping label won't be refunded. Please contact me before sending items back to see what your actual refund amount would be in those cases.
My package is marked delivered, but I don't have it! Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, if the package is marked delivered, I have to take that as proof of delivery. It's the customer's responsibility to provide a secure delivery location. If this does happen, check with anyone who may have picked up the package and brought it in. After that, check with neighbors, or look around your house to see if the carrier left it in an inconspicuous area. In the case of stolen packages, you should file a stolen package report with the police and the post office so that they can track patterns of theft in your area.
How long does it take for you to create your artwork?
I get asked this question a lot. It depends, but the average is weeks to months. A large oil painting will definitely take months. I consider myself a slow painter, adding details and depth to make those works look realistic. Recently, I've been experimenting with using watercolors, which may shorten the time it takes to create a painting. It's a learning process, and I'm not sure watercolors are my thing. We'll see.
