And one gentle reminder. Keep in mind that vintage clothes have former lives. Even those described as near-perfect, or with original tags, are subject to the effects of time. If you're looking for brand new, then vintage clothing is probably not for you. But if you appreciate the incomparable style, quality, and history inherent to vintage, then buy with confidence!
We accept PayPal and direct credit card payments. You can also pay with your personal check. We will ship your item as soon as the check has cleared.
We try to be as accommodating as possible, so contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Yes! We do layaway. Contact us for complete terms. All layaway sales are final, and partial payments are non-refundable.
Bee Dee Vintage ships via USPS First-Class or Priority Mail. Please note that in many cases, the rates we charge do not cover our cost.
We ship worldwide, and will honor your request for specific shipping methods or carriers whenever possible. If you have any questions, or want a new quote, please contact us.
If you need something right away, we will do whatever we can to get it to you in time.
As of Aug. 9, 2012, we pay to insure all domestic purchases over $50, and all international shipments, for their full value (item price plus shipping). Note that the insurance carrier will require the buyer to complete a claim form prior to reimbursement in case of loss or damage.
Please be aware that your country may charge V.A.T. (tax based on the item's value) on merchandise sent from abroad. Will we not, under any circumstances or for any reason, misrepresent our transactions or otherwise lie on customs forms. Please do not ask. We have no control over what taxes are levied by foreign governments. They are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Refunds and Exchanges
We stand behind our products. In the unlikely event that we miss something major (such as a flaw that affects wearability) or send you the wrong item, then of course we will rectify the situation immediately, at our expense.
Most Bee Dee Vintage items can be returned. If an item is final sale -- usually older, more delicate, or sale/clearance merchandise -- it will be noted in the individual listing.
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please get in touch with us immediately. If the item is returnable, you will be responsible for return shipping costs. Please ship the item back within 3 business days. When we receive it in the same condition it was sent to you, your purchase price will be immediately refunded.
All layaway items are final sale, and partial payments are non-refundable. Contact us with any questions or concerns.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. WILL THIS FIT ME?
Remember, the measurements given in each listing are those of the garment, not the body that will wear it. Here's how to see if an item will work for you:
* Measure a similar item you already own that fits you well and compare those numbers to the ones in the listing. If they are the same or very close, it'll probably fit.

* Measure your body and compare those numbers to the ones in the listing, BUT... remember that you have to leave room to move and breathe! So unless the item is very stretchy, or you prefer your clothing very tight, your body measurements need to be a bit smaller than those of the garment!

And remember, if an item's size is off by just a little, it can probably be altered to fit perfectly, for a reasonable price, at your local tailor or seamstress.
2. DO YOU HAVE OTHER PHOTOS? CAN YOU SEND ME MORE DETAILS OR MEASUREMENTS?
Absolutely. Just ask! We're happy to answer all your questions.
To convert measurements from inches to centimeters, just multiple each number by 2.54 (example: bust 36", 36 x 2.54 = 91.44cm = ~ 91cm).
3. I'M LOOKING FOR SOMETHING REALLY SPECIFIC AND I DON'T SEE IT HERE. CAN YOU TELL ME IF YOU GET ONE IN?

4. SHOULD I WASH MY GARMENT BEFORE I WEAR IT?
Only if it does not say that we've already cleaned it. Nearly everything we sell is laundered before we ship it to you. We use gentle, dye-free, unscented cleaning products. Garments are line or flat dried (we rarely tumble dry, and then only when the manufacturer specifically recommends it). Dry-cleaning is done professionally by qualified outlets. We remove all bags, hangers, tags, etc. to protect the fabric, but we keep all the receipts, and copies are available upon request.
5. DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes. Please email for shipping rates on the item(s) you're interested in. We'll do what we can to find an affordable way of getting them safely to you, wherever you live. All VAT and other taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
