Attorney by Day; Designer by Night...

I have always loved designing and creating. Dating back to high school I entered my school's "Table Setting Contest" which required use of design to create a table setting for a local company known as ZCMI. I won two years in a row. I loved art and drama in school. I attended college then law school in Boston. Thereafter, I clerked for a judge at the Utah Supreme Court and also worked in design at a local retailer. I have always had the inspiration to own my own business. While I am a partner at a local law firm, my business and life goals do not end there. In addition to working in our insurance team, I am in charge at the law firm of design and have, on the side, two small children and now, this small business.

My love for vintage and salvaged items started by living in a local area in Utah known as the "Avenues" only a few years ago. There you will see old homes built in the early 1900s with old windows, doors, acorn hooks from old schools, subway tiles, and stained glass. It is one of those neighborhoods where everyone seems to have a small house, a dog and a cup of coffee and goes on regular walks. While living there, I learned about repurposing vintage fixtures given the historic natures of these homes. This has inspired me to repurpose and enjoy shabby chic and vintage design with a bit of modern flare. My sister, a Reno dentist, also assists and designs with me and proceeds from the Swarovski collections are donated to local children in need of dentistry.

My love for repurposing the tin is part of my experimentation with design and love of unique but classy clothing. I do wear it to work at my job everyday and I think it looks great. It has grown quite a bit in just the last few months. I plan on continuing this journey and one day hope to open a small store. Please enjoy our creations and thank you for stopping by.
