5 out of 5 starsNot creepy at all! She’s emblematic of some challenging times I’ve gone through and I immediately made a connection with this doll. Thank you!

I create creepy cloth dolls focusing on different sides of mental health.
At the beginning of 2018 I was looking for a creative outlet during darker days of my depression. I have always been artistic and creative person so I had the idea to start making dolls at the end of March; I wanted to explore a new craft outside of my skillset. I have never used Etsy for selling however I am aware of its popularity and the successes of small craft businesses, so I decided this was the best place to start my project.
I guess you could describe me as a goth based on my music taste, fashion and general interest in macabre (in case you didn't guess by the dolls). Everything on Etsy (to me) seemed so cute and happy, as though every blurb should be accompanied by an acoustic guitar or ukulele, so I naturally felt I wouldn't fit in there. I wanted my creations to be something dark, sarcastic and self-deprecating to the sound of an out of tune piano or tortured violin.
At the lowest and darkest times of depression people find it difficult to verbalise what they are feeling or being tormented by; based on my own experiences I wanted the dolls to embody different struggles with mental health, depression, stress, anxiety or a certain characteristic / syndrome.
