It all started when I fell in love with antique spuncotton dolls. I wanted to have one, but it was too expensive for me to buy. I am a professional artist, I make paintings in my studio and have a parttime job to pay my bills ;-) Making Christmas ornaments was not my main goal, but I learned myself to make spuncotton dolls the old fashioned way because I wanted to have them myself. After that I started to make more and all kinds of ornaments because I love the VictorianCchristmas atmospere . The extravagance but I also love the German, Sebnitz, Dresden, and Gablonz style, they are all so adorable. I just have to remake them and make that patine of old times . The name of my shop BELDRIN, literally means: there is a (small) bell in it. Te reason for that is just because some people bought my spuncotton dolls, en than sold them as being antique. The least thing I could do is put a bell in my puppets so people could hear they are mine, a BELDRIN puppet. See what I mean? That is my story , Just have Christmas ornaments fun and share the joy!
