Announcement   **IMPORTANT: I am not currently accepting custom work. I apologize for the inconvenience. I hope to get back to that soon, but in the meantime, please feel free to look through what I've already made and make a thorough decision about what you'd like when I'm fully back.**

The word "belethil" is a slight modification of Belthil, meaning "divine radiance" in Quenya:

"There shining fountains played, and in the courts Turgon stood images of the Trees of old, which Turgon himself wrought with elven-craft; and the Tree which he made of gold was named Glingal, and the Tree whose flowers he made of silver was named Belthil."

Since my primary medium is silver, I felt it would be appropriate - and it gives me something to aspire to, making beautiful things to honor a beloved icon.

The necklace is even more beautiful in person. A very unique and well made piece, I get double takes and compliments every time I wear it.

Talented artist, she saw my vision better than I imagined. Thank you a thousand times!

These were exactly as described, and even more beautiful in person (if possible?). So glad to get a pair of wire elf ears from the original inventor herself!

This started as a hobby (or compulsion!) many years ago, and became a dream - and then the reality - of a business. I am deeply grateful for the customers who, in the last few years, have enabled me to grow so much.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept paypal and direct checkout, but if you prefer a different method, please send me a private message prior to purchase and I will see if I can accommodate you. If you need to cancel a transaction for any reason, please let me know prior to shipment. This is usually within one or two business days for ready-made items, and I will send you a message regarding the anticipated ship time for custom orders if the item's description doesn't include that information.
Shipping
I almost always ship via USPS. If you'd like to have me ship using another method, please contact me prior to purchase and I will alter the listing to reflect the cost of your chosen shipping method.
Refunds and Exchanges
- All custom orders, and items that you have asked me to reserve for you alone, are final once you have received the item in question. Before shipping, you can change your mind or ask me to make something else, but once it ships, it's yours for good.

- If something pre-made does not fit or is otherwise unsatisfactory, I will be happy to discuss a return in exchange for a store credit. In the event of something not fitting, I prefer to obtain proof in the form of a photograph before agreeing to a return.

- Should an item be damaged in transit, please let me know! I purchase insurance for all domestic (USA) shipping, so pending post office cooperation, a full refund is possible. If I am unable to obtain a refund from the insurance, please send me the damaged item and I will provide as much of a refund as I can.

- When it comes to prepaid custom orders, I need you to remain in touch, especially if you haven't given me the information I need to complete your order. If I am unable to reach you through Etsy messaging after 45 days, I will cancel the transaction and issue a refund. You are welcome to re-purchase the same item, but I need to know exactly what you want in order to provide it.
Additional policies and FAQs
FAQs:

- I happily accept layaway! Feel free to send a message asking for details.

- Custom orders are always welcome unless otherwise noted! A deposit may be required depending on what materials I have to obtain in order to fulfill your request.

- Wholesale is a possibility, but due to the painstaking nature of my work, discounts for bulk orders may not be as steep as they might be in other types of craft.

- I have done consignment in the past, and have not had good experiences with this. Unless we know each other personally, I prefer not to do consignment.

- I try to make my regular pieces sturdy enough to withstand normal use, and sometimes abnormal use (any jewelry I wear around my daughter has to be VERY sturdy!). If you intend to wear something around small children or rambunctious animals, please don't hesitate to inquire as to how sturdy any given piece is. If something breaks with gentle-to-normal adult handling, I will be happy to repair it for just the cost of shipping. Elf ears are a special case; they are easily bent and will not withstand the attention of small children or animals, so please try not to bring them into contact.
