What I love is how easy it is to construct from easily avaliable materail and here's a hint...try acrylic paint if fabric paint is gard to come by or out of allowances .... I made the whole doll in about 4 hours because I had to wait for the paint to dry on both the doll and dress because I painted something on the dress rather than trying a bow around the dress. I used the same materail fir the doll and the dress and the underwear...medium weight muslin and it worked ...

This is a sweet doll pattern, VERY well-explained, and attractively laid out. A tremendously satisfying transaction from an exemplary seller! Thanks so much and all the best in this New Year. :>)

About

Handmade from the Heart

My name is Allison, and I live in a small town outside of Louisville, Kentucky. I am married to the love of my life, and so far we have 4 fur-kids: Zoe the pomeranian, Tilly the chihuahua, and 2 cats, Spooky and Sammie. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, spending time outdoors, and of course, sewing!

For as long as I can remember, I have loved to create - arts and crafts was my favorite activity in elementary school, and I learned to sew at a young age from my grandmother, who I called "Emmy." We completed many projects together, and my favorite toys were the rag dolls that she made for me. There was something so simple and comforting about them. I love making rag dolls today because of the happy childhood memories they bring back, and I hope those memories will live on through them.

My dolls are lovingly made one at a time in my smoke-free home, using high-quality materials. Because of the custom, personalized nature of my dolls, most of them are made to order - though occasionally I may have some dolls that are ready to ship.
