My Story

Hi There! I'm Sarah Coats, owner, and artist behind Beloved Paper. I fell in love with art while sitting at my mama's kitchen table where she homeschooled all of myself and my seven siblings. I would have sat there and worked through those little art packets all day.

As an artist, I specifically work with custom watercolor family portraits for the sentimental mama. And while I love putting paint on paper, it is the story behind each piece I create that holds the most meaning to me.

Every piece here at Beloved Paper begins as 100% original artwork and included in each brushstroke and each scratch of my pencil is your memories and stories of love.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
I stand behind my products; I hope to never have an unsatisfied customer and will do everything to make sure your product is exactly what you approved.

CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom orders go through a thorough proofing process, therefore, we do not accept returns or issue refunds on custom orders of any kind.

PRINTING ERRORS
In the event, there is an error that was not part of your electronic proof. I will reprint your order and ship it to you in the quickest way possible. If the error was on the proof that you approved but failed to notice the mistake, I am sorry but I cannot issue you a refund and any additional printing will be at your cost. Once the proofs are approved by you, there will be no further review of your order for spelling, punctuation, or content.

SHIPPING ISSUES
All orders are shipped with tracking and custom orders with insurance. Please note that once I release a box to the Postal Service or UPS/FedEx the handling and delivery of that package are out of my control. Unfortunately (and rarely) shipping incidents do occur, these will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis and following the below guidelines.

Damage from shipping
If an order is delivered damaged, please contact me within 7 business days of delivery. If the shipping box is damaged, please send me photos of both the box and product damage (this helps with filing a claim to the shipping carrier.

If it is determined that a refund/replacement is required, you will need to return the damaged product before any type of refund or replacement can be issued. A return label will be sent at no additional cost to you.

Lost or Late Package
Please note that once I ship a package, the delivery of that package is out of my control. Lost/late packages are very rare but happen more frequently during the holiday and rush seasons. Please contact me if your package does not arrive on time (if your order is a time-sensitive gift, I can send you a digital print until the package arrives). Due to the nature of lost packages, I can not refund or replace orders until 30 days after the original shipping date.
Payment
MAPS AND PRINTS
Purchase your map and print orders by adding your desired size to the cart. If your order includes personalization please include your exact personalization requests. If the personalization section is empty, your map will not be personalized. (*Not all prints can be customized).

PAYMENT
For custom designs, we require a non-refundable design fee (this is due before any design can take place and varies based on the complexity of the design). We do not accept returns or issue refunds on custom orders of any kind.

International shipping may incur additional taxes and duty fees. These fees are the responsibility of you, the buyer to pay.
