About Us

For as long as we remember, we have always lived very simple, were riding our bikes to school, swimming in the river, had organic garden, and followed holistic philosophies of well-being.
Some of the best memories of our childhood include wild mushroom hunting with dad, foraging for wild berries, nuts, and herbs with mom. We always made our own remedies and canned our goods for winter. Life was simple, yet perfect!
Immigration to USA in early 1990's has impacted our lives and opened new ways of exploring our passion for natural living. After living in Indianapolis, IN for almost a decade, we moved to Wisconsin, where rural setting and country living reminded us of our home, Russia.
We quickly adjusted to a slow rhythm of the country, started a garden and reminded ourselves once again, how beautiful life can be! This was also a time, we both started a family of our own. Motherhood made us even closer to one another, and we became more than siblings, we became soul mates` and best friends. Not a day would go by without a conversation, a phone call or a visit. We loved spending time together - whether with our children in the zoo, children's museum or play room, traveling together, crafting together...
We would easily breast feed each others kids, share baby items, clothes and, experience.
As our children were growing, we had to refresh our childhood memories, go over our grandma's recipe books and try to live life just the way nature intended. I started making cloth diapers, sewing and repairing clothes. My sister was exploring herbs and remedies, made body products with coconut oil and experimented with essential oils. She became vegan, was regularly doing yoga and Zumba, Completed P90X Workout, and was riding her bile to work, preferring it to her new Lexus.
By 2010 we lived as natural, as possible: had completely chemical-free households, started gardens of our own, and helped our mom start one of the best organic garden in the area, were farmer's market "usuals", baked bread, composted and recycled, wild-mushroom hunted, pulled our children in trailers behind our bicycles through town, joined holistic network groups, attended classes and educated ourselves in ways to make life simple, natural, and beautiful.
We started a business together, trying to teach other mothers of little tricks and ideas of motherhood. We actively supported and advocated for breastfeeding, attached parenting, natural living, chiropractic care.
In September of 2011, my Beloved Sister Natalia was diagnosed with rare brain tumor, that was not curable. Our perfect world had crashed. Our dreams vanished and there was not much left, but fear and pain. I can not remember a day that fall that i would not cry. I was getting up every morning, and my first action was calling her, texting her or looking for a text from her. I knew i had so much to do that fall, I was afraid that she will not see it - I was making dresses fr her daughter, finishing the old projects, crossing things off our bucket list...
During Thanksgiving, we broke the "wish bone", and she was the one to get it. I got sad, and she hugged me, saying, "No worries, lil sis! I'm sure our wish was the same!" (and i know it was)..
As the Christmas was approaching, my Christmas List was short, it only had one thing listed. We sat in the church and watched the Children's Christmas Program ,when we were moved to hug one another. We were hugging and both crying unconditionally. We both knew at that point, it was our "good buy" hug.
My sister passed away on January 2nd, with us, her family, by her side. She wished to be an organ donor, and this decision of her, saved FIVE lives that night.
Her funeral was on January 7th - Russian Orthodox Christmas. I thought then, it was an answer to my long prayer.

A Depression followed the loss. It was hard for me to even enter my studio, let alone sew something. AS Natalia's daughter's birthday was approaching, I reminded myself over and over again my sister's words: "Don't get us anything from the store. The only thing we want from you - the handmade goodies! If you ever buy us a present from the store, it will be like you don't care!"
I made a promise to my sister that I will every year make a new dress for her daughter's birthday. A dress for her daughter's 2nd birthday was my first project without my sister Natalia.

Slowly, I got back on track. Started sewing and crafting more, smiling more, laughing more. But not a day would go by without a thought of my sister. The hole she left is too dip. And i have realized that no one is able to fill that hole for me, but I can fill it myself - with love, memories, and dedication to my sister. I started doing more in her honor - donating clothes and toys, visiting Assisted living with my children, volunteering and helping others.

The spring of 2014 brought a new start - I started teaching Healthy Holistic Homemaking Classes, and a new Business - Beloved Sisters!

Welcome!
When two Sisters, Natalia and Veronika, have both become mothers, they started a business together in hopes to help mothers around the planet to live life the way nature intended. They were hoping to learn from one another, teach each other and make the best of motherhood. Together they were making aprons and baby carriers, shopping cart covers and baby clothing, body products and much, much more.
Natalia's life was taken by rare brain tumor in January of 2012, and with support of her crafting friends, Veronika continued the business in 2014 honoring her beloved sister.
Our goal is to provide all-natural skin care products handcrafted following old holistic, healthy, simple and effective formulas. We LOVE creating and strive to make high quality products.
Everything found in this store is made from scratch in our smoke-free, cat-free, dust-free home! We do have dogs, and they often warm our feet when we are crafting in our basement studio & kitchen.

This venture has been a healing path of learning to Live Life the Way Nature Intended, knowing that Beloved Sister Natalia is watching over us. We give a credit to our guardian angel for all that we create and are thankful for the opportunity to trully live, help others, work from home while financially supporting our children.
