Benedict's Beads specializes in exceptional quality ladder rosaries that are made by Brad Geist, a former Benedictine monk. Brad received a solid Benedictine formation through his time at Benedictine College and St. Benedict's Abbey. This business, under the name Mediatrix Rosaries, began in 2010 while he was a student. When he joined the monastery in 2013, the business was put on hold as he went through the postulancy and novitiate. He began it anew as a way to earn money for the abbey and re-christened it Benedict's Beads after the founder of the order. The business grew to what it is today under the Benedictine values of prayer and work, as well as the unwavering devotion to the Blessed Virgin that the Benedictines are renowned for. Though he is no longer a monk, Brad still holds firmly to these values, performing his craft for the greater glory of God (RB 57:9).

5 out of 5 starsThis mini-ladder rosary was a Christmas gift for my dad who loves the colors red and black. He specifically asked for a ladder rosary, and while I made a mistake in buying a mini-version (thinking that it would be easier to carry it around in his pocket than a regular-sized ladder rosary), it turned out a bit too small, as his fingers are too big for the beads. However, as you can imagine, the rosary will not go to waste, by any means! This rosary features wonderful craftsmanship, is very rugged, and is highly recommended for someone with small fingers!
