Hello, my names Ben. I have been a landscape architect with my own business (Maryland Regional Landscaping) for over a decade. My business allows me to express my artistic side, but even in my spare time the artist in me was still coming up with all sorts of things that wouldn't pertain to my current business.
So a couple years ago I bought a store front in Lietersburg Md. The name of the store is The Antique Garden. It was such a beautiful building with turn of the century architecture. It allows me to not only sell my artistic work, but also a place to spread out and create.
It had remained a side business for a while mainly because of a lack of time between my first business and wife and four children.
This winter however I am really looking forward to kick starting my store, and being able to bring my products to you, wherever you are! My childhood friend Josh Foley has come on to help, and between the two of us we plan to create a steady line of products that appeal to the artist side in all of you.
I love all things old, I think there is a story in it's age, a history that brings life to a new creation. To take something that has outlived its purpose and bring it new life is very satisfying!
I also get the same feeling while working with natural products. To see their growth, their character each different and unique, yet still uniform.
I hope you take the time to look at some of my creations. There's a little bit there for everyone.
