TRAY STORY DE BERRY - DE LA FASCINACIÓN ADOLESCENTE A LA VIDA ADULTA TIENDA ETSY
De niño, me cautivaba el trabajo artesanal de los artesanos al crear objetos de madera. Verlos cortar, moldear y perfeccionar la madera con maestría era fascinante e inspirador. El olor a aserrín o el sonido de las herramientas cortando la madera eran inolvidables. Así que, durante la universidad, me dediqué a la carpintería para ayudar a mi primo con las reformas de su casa y ganar algo de dinero extra. Incluso creé armarios de cocina y otros objetos de madera.
En 2020, con la pandemia de COVID-19, me vi obligado a teletrabajar. Busqué escritorios de oficina en internet, pero eran demasiado caros y el plazo de entrega era de varios meses. Fue entonces cuando decidí construir mi escritorio y compré algunas herramientas. Por suerte, logré construir un escritorio funcional, lo cual fue un gran alivio. También construí estanterías para tener un lugar permanente para mis libros, y me emocionó encontrar la estantería perfecta para exhibir mis tesoros.
En 2021, con mi recién descubierta pasión por la carpintería, me fijé en la otomana irregular de mi amigo, que no tenía espacio para el café. Construí una bandeja para la otomana para que pudiera servir a sus invitados y posavasos a juego para realzar la belleza de la sala. La calidad de mis productos impresionó a mi amigo y me dio la idea de abrir una tienda en Etsy. De niña, me fascinaban los artesanos que creaban hermosos objetos de madera. As a child, I was captivated by the skilled work of artisans crafting wooden objects. Watching them expertly cut, mold, and perfect the wood was fascinating and inspiring. The smell of sawdust or the sound of the tools cutting through the wood was unforgettable. So, during college, I turned to woodworking to help my cousin with home renovations and earn some extra money. I even created kitchen cabinets and other wooden objects.
Fast forward to 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and I was forced to work from home. I searched online for office desks, but they were too expensive, and the lead time was several months. That's when I decided to build my desk and purchased some tools to do so. Thankfully, I was successful in building a functional desk, which was a great relief. I also built bookshelves to create a permanent place for my books, and I was thrilled to find the perfect shelf to display my treasures.
In 2021, with my newfound passion for woodworking, I noticed my friend's uneven ottoman, which had no place for coffee. I built an ottoman tray so he could serve his guests, and matching coasters to enhance the beauty of the living room. The quality of my products impressed my friend and gave me the idea to start an Etsy store. As a child, I was fascinated by skilled artisans crafting beautiful wooden objects.
