I'd give more stars if it were an option. The quality and beauty of our new tree trunk stool, the attentive and personal customer service, the way it works for our unique needs (yes, as a stool in our entryway, but also to wrap a leash around and gently restrain our 50-lb. Border Collie so he doesn't greet our guests with a wraparound hug!)

This is a top notch company on Etsy. The owner is very nice and very helpful on custom requests. I absolutely love our side table it was going to go outside but it’s so beautiful my husband wants it in his “lounge room” now. Will looks amazing when the room is done. I love the natural wood grain and details of the wood with the Japanese black technique. Absolutely stunning. Top notch. Can’t say enough amazing things about them.

The Jones Family

The Jones Family from The Swanky Abode

BERTU was founded by the Jones family in a very raw way. The foundation was in graffiti and skateboarding, slowly moving into candles, gifts, and furniture. Today, the company is run by me, Gretta Jones, the newest member of the family... I married Izze October 2016! I strive to have a distinct eye and attention to detail. With my interior design background, BERTU shines in a new light showcasing furniture, home accessories, and soon lighting, but will never lose its original character.

Locally sourced black walnut is our bread and butter. Tree stump tables are our second love. We are in for an exciting year with new upholstered pieces and dining chairs!

We design approachable, quality furniture and accessories. Almost anything is customizable from dimensions, to the wood used, to your color choice of powder-coated iron. BERTU furniture is created by us and built by local craftsmen. It is not over-designed, and we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We are real people making real product. Want to know more?
