    Kevin has created, In this high tech clock, a more meditative sense of the movement and flow of time, devoid of all the obsessive frantic details of minute by minute and second by second updates of daily life. It's a marvelous, high quality and wonderfully designed clock. THank you Kevin! I can hardly wait to see what you create next.

    Love this idea -- that in this digital world maybe exact time is not really required. Kevin did an excellent job designing and executing not only the object itself, but the instruction booklet too.
    nI can't wait to see what he creates next!

I take a lot of pride in the objects I make and am happy to answer any questions about them. I am also open to discussing custom work.

Returns and exchanges
If you don't like what you've bought: within 60 days of the purchase date I will take it back and refund the purchase price, provided the item is returned undamaged. Shipping costs are not refundable. You must contact me before returning an item.

If the item is defective: return within 60 days applies as described above. After 60 days, please contact me to discuss repairing the item. See "additional information" for more details about how I support my products.

Lost or damaged shipments: we may be living the bright future of 2012, but courier liability is still a medieval labyrinth. Since the items for sale in my shop are unique, damaged or lost shipments cannot be easily replaced. If you receive a damaged package, please contact me immediately to determine the damage and discuss making a claim with the carrier. It is important to keep all shipping materials to support a damage claim. In some cases it may be preferable to repair a damaged item.

Refunds for lost shipments are conditional upon the shipping terms. Unfortunately, shipping to certain regions of the world is unreliable. My policy for lost shipments is that I will refund the buyer for a lost shipment where the item was shipped with door-to-door tracking and a receiver's signature required. When you purchase an item at my shop, I will clearly state whether the shipment is eligible for a lost-shipment refund before I ship the item. You will have the option to cancel the purchase for a full refund.

Paypal, please. If you haven't used Paypal before, note that you don't require a Paypal account to make a purchase. You can use a credit card.

I also accept cash for hand-delivered purchases (limited to Greater Toronto Area). Please contact me before buying anything with cash, to verify that I can deliver to your address.

GST/HST is applied for buyers in Canada.

Cancellations for non-custom work are ok until the item has shipped. If you have a sudden change of heart, please contact me. If the item has shipped, then we're talking about a return -- in that case the "refund" policy applies.
Purchases are shipped promptly, after payment is received and cleared. The items I sell are usually fragile and unique, so the quoted shipping rates for each item are for express delivery with a delivery signature required. I'm happy to ship more or less anywhere on Earth, but if your country is not listed in the shipping rates, then please contact me before purchasing to discuss shipping terms.

I ship using Canada Post's Xpresspost class. For shipment to places outside of Canada, Canada Post subcontracts FedEx to make the delivery. If you would like me to ship with a different carrier, please contact me before purchasing. Cheaper shipping options may also be available, but they may affect the refund policy for lost packages -- see "refund policy" below and please contact me if you have any questions about that.

For customs and carrier liability, the declared shipment value will be the purchase price. Note that customs tariffs and brokerage fees may be imposed on international orders, and would be due on delivery (COD).

Please note that carrier liability (ie, the stated value of the shipment) is not insurance, and doesn't provide much protection for lost or damaged shipments. Insurance is not included in the shipping cost; please contact me before purchasing if you would like to discuss shipping insurance.

If you receive an item damaged during shipment, please contact me as soon as possible, and keep all packing materials.
Additional policies and FAQs
As one-of-a-kind creations, the devices for sale in my shop have not been subjected to UL, CSA, ETL or CE testing, and do not come with any warranty or certification.

That said, I take pride in my work and happily support my creations after purchase. If an item you bought from me needs repair, please contact me to see what can be done. Repairs are done at my discretion and may have a cost, however In many cases I will try to repair the item for free. Shipping for repairs is not eligible for lost-shipment refunds, regardless of the terms of the original purchase.

Certain parts of the items in my shop, such as power adaptors, have been purchased from a third-party manufacturer and may be certified by UL, CSA, ETL or CE.

I use RoHS-compliant silver solder when assembling electronics.
