Welcome to my studio!
Mein Name ist Beth Joy, ich liebe alles Bunte (offensichtlich!).
Ich bin Künstlerin und Kunstpsychotherapeutin und lebe und arbeite in Großbritannien.
In meinem Atelier arbeite ich an der Herstellung handgefertigter getufteter Teppiche, Spiegel und anderer farbenfroher Wohnaccessoires.
Meiner Meinung nach sollte unser Zuhause ein Spiegelbild dessen sein, wer wir sind und wie wir uns fühlen möchten.
Die Herstellung meiner Teppiche ermöglicht es mir, in einen Prozess einzutauchen, in dem ich mich durch Textur und Farbe geerdet fühle. Seitdem ich Kunsttherapeutin bin, habe ich das Gefühl, dass ich wirklich erkannt habe, welchen Nutzen es für mich hat, Kunst zu schaffen, die mich mit purer Freude erfüllt.
Ich hoffe, dass schon das bloße Betrachten meiner Kreationen Ihnen ein Gefühl von Freude und Verspieltheit vermittelt!

My name is Beth Joy, I love all things colourful (obviously!).
I'm an artist and art psychotherapist living and working in the UK.
I work from my studio creating handmade tufted rugs, mirrors and other colourful home decor.
I feel that our homes should be a reflection of who we are and how we want to feel.
Creating my rugs allows me to get absorbed into a process of feeling grounded using texture and colour. Since becoming an art therapist, I feel I've truly realised the benefit I get from creating art, where it fills me with pure joy.
I hope even just looking at my creations it gives you a sense of joy and playfulness!
