Beth La Boo, est un surnom d’enfance que m’a donné ma mère créative et mon père entrepreneur. Ils disaient souvent « Beth La Boo, je t’aime » !
J’ai été artisan, couturière, économe, couturière, upcycler etc... depuis plus de 20 ans et je veux offrir mes produits à d’autres. Je m’ennuie à faire la même chose encore et encore, alors vous remarquerez que ma boutique a une apparence éclectique.
En ce moment, je me spécialise dans le sauvetage, la réparation et le matelassage de dessus de courtepointe anciens et vintage oubliés depuis longtemps. J’aime les voir prendre vie et leur apporter du réconfort comme ils étaient censés le faire à l’origine!
Beaucoup de courtepointes modernes pour le mur, le canapé ou l’enfant sont mes propres conceptions. Vous trouverez également des décorations glamping (glamour + camping) à la fois neuves et vintage, et tout ce qui me chatouille.
L’artisanat a toujours été ma priorité n ° 1 (grâce aux enseignements de M. Pal Wright de mon cours de poterie au lycée). Chaque article que je fabrique est créé de manière détendue et sans hâte.
Arrêtez-vous souvent, car je ne fais que commencer et je publierai de nouveaux articles. Et si vous avez envie d’acheter quelque chose, je vous envoie un grand « Merci! » alors que vous m’aidez à vivre une vie créative.
Beth La Boo, is a childhood nickname given to me by my creative mother and entrepreneurial father. They would often say "Beth La Boo, I love you"!
I have been a crafter, quilter, thrifter, seamstress, upcycler etc... for over 20 years and want to offer my goods to others. I get bored making the same thing over and over so you will notice that my shop has an eclectic appearance.
Right now, I specialize in rescuing, repairing, and quilting long forgotten antique and vintage quilt tops. I love to see them come to life and provide comfort like they were originally intended to do!
Many of the modern quilts for the wall, couch, or child are my own designs. You will also find some glamping (glamorous + camping) decorations both new and vintage, and anything else that tickles my fancy.
Craftsmanship has always been my #1 priority (thanks to the teachings of Mr. Pal Wright from my high school pottery class). Every item I make is created in a relaxed and unhurried manner.
