Effective February 1st I will be charging half of the cost of shipping items. After seeing my net last year that didn't even include my time spent, it's not worth selling on Etsy. What's changed? Supplies, Etsy fees and shipping costs. I can't justify raising my prices and including the shipping costs like Etsy would have me do - they seem fair and I don't want to make it so that I can't compete with other sellers who have items that are machined, cut or premade, therefore they take less time and energy. I realize we're all in a tough market so that's why I'm paying half of the cost myself. What happens within the next year will determine my future on Etsy and their algorithms of promoting certain sellers which doesn't seem to be me unfortunately.

I was amazed at the cost of just plain paper towel holders when I looked for a Mickey one so after making one for my laundry room I thought I'd make them for everyone and give them a chance to get a "one of a kind" handmade holder (and so much more now!). I love making anything Mickey and giving people unique one of a kind items. I'm always creating new things and keep expanding due to customer requests or an idea that I think is cute. I hope you think so too so make sure to favorite my store. If your item arrives damaged (which is happening more and more due to the increase in USPS packages) or you're not happy with something PLEASE let me know first instead of in the feedback area. I always do my best to remedy any issues. If you're not happy with your item within 7 days of receipt I will gladly send a return shipping label at my cost. It doesn't happen often but that's life.
