Hi there! I’m Betty and welcome to my shop, Betty Tucker Creations. I’ve always liked making things through a variety of crafts. I love sewing, woodworking, crocheting, knitting, and gardening. After a nearly 30 year career in the secretarial field, I retired and decided to pursue my creative interests.

I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia. When I was 17, I left my beloved mountains for the desert of West Texas. That’s right, from Hillbilly to Redneck! And, after all these years, I still call West Texas home. But, I get my inspiration from my Hillbilly roots. Primitive, farmhouse, and rustic crafts are my passion.

My husband and I have 7 children. And, they have blessed us with 13 wonderful grandchildren. They live both near and far. I always enjoy making gifts for them. They help keep me motivated and the inspiration flowing.

I also enjoy being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My creativity and my life are directly affected by my religious beliefs. That being said, I respect all religious beliefs and love having friends of all faiths.

Getting to this place, my own creative space and shop, has been a journey. While my dreams have shifted, they still are based on the fact that I can have a career using my creative talents. Creativity is a from of expression for me and a drive. Basically its what I’m all about. Thank you to all my family and friends for always believing in me and my talent. And thank you to my Father in Heaven for blessing me with the gift of creativity.
