Experiences in my life have lead me to my Etsy shop of today. I've been a draftsman, graphic designer, quilter, stenciler, designer and painter; as well as the homemaker that met the challenges of how to paint the furniture and the floors, create the window treatments, frame the artwork, build the flower beds and gardens, and all the rest of the hands-on tasks that make a house a home.

Working with vintage fabrics and trims to create unique and charming window treatments had become a fulfilling challenge. Challenge met, I now am enjoying the design and creation of simple window shades and window treatments suited for today's clean minimalist decor.

I enjoy talking with my clients. That is part of the pleasure of my work here at Betty and Babs. It gives me a great deal of satisfaction helping homemakers create and add the "just right" window treatments for the room they are decorating.
