Betty's Beauty in Beads offers high quality, precious and semi-precious gemstone beads and other elements for jewelry designers and crafters. My shop specializes in mini- and demi-strands of exceptional and unique beads for jewelry designers and crafters. Why buy a large strand when you only need a few beads, right?

Some strands will include coordinated accent beads, spacers or crimps as a bonus. I will also be offering bead mixes and destash lots, so you can add variety to your own bead stash!

Frequently, I attend gem and bead shows and import materials from overseas for my inventory. The collection of gemstone strands and other items that I have is extensive. If you need something special that's not in my shop, just ask! If it's in stock, a custom order can be posted for you. Special orders are always welcome! If I don't have what you need in stock, I may be able to find or procure the items for you.

Thanks for stopping by Betty's Beauty in Beads! Before placing an order, we encourage you to read our shop polices to make your experience a great one, and to ensure your items arrive quickly.

Measurements, colors, shapes, treatments, and other details are included in the item descriptions. Product images provide detailed depictions, as accurately as possible. Do you have any questions or requests? Please contact us prior to ordering.

Special orders are welcome! Let us know your request. If we don't have what you need, either we'll try to source it for you, or we might recommend another reputable vendor who does! E-mail or convo us with the specifics so we can discuss. We're eager to help when we can!

Accepted payment methods

Payment
Payment is due at time of purchase. Paypal is currently the preferred method of payment. If you do not use PayPal, the only other option would be a USPS Money Order. If this is your preference, consideration will be made on an individual basis (please contact us before placing your order). Shipments will be made once full payment is received.

TAXES - We are located in the city of Cumming, Georgia, in the USA. We are required to collect state and local sales tax for those whose PayPal account address in the state of Georgia, USA.
Shipping
PROCESSING: Orders will be processed within 1-3 business days of receipt of payment. Delivery Confirmation will be added to all orders. All purchases of $20 USD and greater will be insured (included in shipping fees). Once the package is shipped, the postal service is in control of the delivery time. Deliveries may take longer during the holiday season, so shop early!

Your purchases will be shipped only to the address on your Etsy or PayPal account, for your protection. Please ensure your PayPal and ETSY mailing addresses match and are current. If the addresses do not match, additional time may be required to contact you for the correct address.

SHIPMENTS IN USA: USPS first class will be used for smaller orders, with delivery times of 2-11 business days. We may ship larger combined orders via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate parcel to decrease shipping costs, with improved delivery times of 2-4 days.

EXPEDITED SHIPMENT: If you require an expedited shipment, please contact us for accommodations to be made. The buyer is responsible for any additional charges.

HEAVY ITEMS: When applicable, heavier items may ship via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box, as long as they can safely and securely fit within an appropriate box. If an item is too heavy or doesn't fit within a Priority Mail Flat Rate box, the next most economical shipping method will be used. When a combined order contains a heavier item, any other items in the order that CANNOT be safely included within the same package, without risking damage, will be shipped separately.
Refunds and Exchanges
We want you to be happy with your purchases! Upon receipt of your shipment, if any item is not as described or depicted, please contact us immediately. We'll work with you to find an acceptable resolution. If we made a mistake, we’ll happily offer an exchange or refund for the item.

To ensure your satisfaction, we include detailed descriptions and accurate photos so you have a clear depiction of the product. Be sure to thoroughly review the description and pictures (size, length, colors, and so on). We welcome questions! Please ask them prior to placing your order. Refunds will generally not be made if the correct item is received as described, and as selected by the buyer.

Report any issues within 14 days of the receipt (per your delivery confirmation), so we can address the problem. All refunds/returns/exchanges must be pre-approved. Refunds will be for the purchase price, excluding all fees, and will be processed once we receive the items back undamaged, and within a timely manner.

Can I combine orders?

When purchasing multiple items in a single transaction, a discount may apply to the shipping fees. The item with the highest shipping fee will be the primary shipping fee, and the lower "additional item" shipping fees will be added for each of the other items. When the total shipping fees reach an adequate level, your shipment may be automatically upgraded to Priority Mail flat-rate parcel (if appropriate for your order's weight/size/address) to decrease your shipping fees. In that case, we'll adjust the shipping fees to deduct or return (as applicable) any excess fees to you, less insurance and any incurred shipping-related costs.

Do you offer replacements if I receive the wrong item?

Was there a mistake? If we shipped the wrong item, or if it was not as described, please contact us immediately so we can make things right. If we agree to replace the item to correct our error, we'll ask you to return the item received in error (must be carefully packed as originally delivered, undamaged and within a timely manner), and we'll cover or prepay the shipping fee for you. Once the original item is received back, the replacement will be sent,and the shipping fees for the replacement will be on us! (In some cases we may offer to let you keep the original item.)

What is your policy on refunds and returns?

We want you to be happy with your purchase! So we provide accurate photos and descriptions. If we should make a mistake, contact us before returning an item. If we made an error, we'll have you return the item and cover return shipping. Then we'll discuss a replacement (see FAQ on Replacements) vs. a refund. Returns must be postmarked within 14 days of receipt. Items must be safely packed as originally delivered for safe return, undamaged, complete and in their unused condition. Any replacement/refund will be made once we've received the original item back safely. Please add delivery confirmation (+ insurance if value's over $20) to the return, to cover problems during shipping.

What if my package is returned to you as undeliverable?

If your package is returned to us by the Post Office as undeliverable, you'll be contacted immediately. In most cases, the amount paid for the merchandise will be refunded directly to the buyer's PayPal account, WITHOUT any associated fees paid for shipping.

How should I care for gemstones, organics or metals?

Many gemstones, while natural, may have industry-accepted treatments for enhancement or protection. Some help protect delicate stones from elements. Others may improve color and sparkle. Delicate gemstones and beads should be handled with care. Avoid "sonic" jewelry cleaners and strong chemicals. They can damage delicate stones, remove manufacturer treatments/coatings (mystic coatings, stabilizers, some dyes), or cause color change in some minerals. They can damage softer organic beads (pearls, turquoise, coral, etc.). Metal elements should be stored in an air-tight container (plastic zip bag), to decrease tarnishing or discoloration over time. Gently wipe clean with a soft cotton cloth.

Do you require insurance on shipments?

To protect you and us, insurance is added to all purchases totaling $20 USD and over. When your purchases are insured, damage to or loss of any items during shipping is the responsibility of the delivery service, and you'll be able to file a claim directly with the insurer for reimbursement. If you would like to add insurance to any purchase totaling under $20 USD, please add a note to your order, and we will add the fee to your order. Once shipped, THERE IS NO RECOURSE FOR UNINSURED PACKAGES, if there is loss or damage caused by the postal service.

Do you accept orders from outside the USA?

Currently, orders are accepted from and shipped to addresses within the USA. However, exceptions can be made on a case by case basis. IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE USA, please contact us prior to placing an order. Only those international ETSY members with a sufficient member or seller history will be considered. USPS International First Class will generally be used for most international shipments. Larger combined orders may be shipped via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate International parcel, if possible, to reduce shipping costs for heaver items. Insurance will be required when available. Buyers are responsible for taxes, import fees, duties, etc. required by customs. Items lost or damaged during international shipment are beyond my control.

What if I need a different quantity of an item you offer?

I hope you find something you like! Are you are looking for a different quantity? Please contact us and we'll help if we can. Do you require a larger quantity? If we have enough inventory to fill your order, we'd be happy to create a custom order for you. Looking for a smaller quantity? Depending upon the item, we'll consider offering a lesser quantity and create a custom order for you. We want your business, so we'll gladly do what we can to help you out! Prices and fees may be revised based upon the desired adjustment. If the request involves breaking down a larger quantity, a repackaging fee may be added. You will be provided with any price adjustments up front so you can make an informed decision.

I'm looking for specific beads and can't find them anywhere.

Let me know if you need help finding something. I have a large inventory of items that will take a while to list; so I may have what you are seeking! If I don't have it or I cannot get it for you, I'd be happy to see if one of my colleagues can help. Give me an opportunity to help; I'm always happy to help in fulfilling that special request!
