Shipping
Domestic: packages ship Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We ship the safest and most economical way possible via USPS Priority, First Class and Parcel Post. If you need an item by a certain date, or have specific shipping requests, please contact us and we'll discuss available options.

Shipping rates specified in item listings are for U.S. domestic shipping only. We're happy to ship internationally; please convo for a shipping quote. International: packages ship twice a week via USPS First Class International Mail (please allow 3-6 weeks for delivery). We also offer Priority and Express Mail on request, and at actual cost; please contact us prior to purchase if you would like one of these two options.

If you would like to add insurance to the shipping, please contact us prior to making payment. We will happily adjust the shipping to reflect the cost of insurance; please note that in some cases the addition of insurance may require an upgrade to an expedited shipping method. Beyond this, Biff & Betty's is not responsible for lost packages.

International Customers: Please note that customs charges or any other import duties are levied by your local country. Biff & Betty's is not responsible for these charges. Please check with your country's customs office to assess these costs prior to purchasing. We ship worldwide.


Shipping charges reflect proper packaging, with adequate protection, in a box appropriate to the item. We love to combine shipping whenever possible; note, however, that in some cases, as with fragile items or items of widely varying weights, combined shipping may not be advisable. Please note: international combined shipping prices vary due to weight restrictions.

We cannot guarantee arrival dates due to USPS conditions that are out of our control. Please be assured that we always do our best to provide you the best value in shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please select carefully as all sales are final. 

Please note that canceled orders will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

All of our items are 100% vintage. That means that each and every item has been used…and loved. (Even "new old stock" items typically show a smidge of shop wear.) Because our items are decades old, they may show natural signs of wear and age. We do our best accurately to note any flaws or imperfections in the descriptions, but, on occasion, we may overlook a teeny, tiny flaw.


Any damage or flaw that affects usability is detailed in the "Condition" report of each item's description. We take great care to provide accurate descriptions of each item. If you have any additional questions about an item, please contact us.

In the case of mechanical or electronic items (such as cameras, lenses or writing instruments), operating condition will be noted in the individual listing. In some instances, we may not be able fully to test an item (for example, we may be able to state that a camera winds and fires, but we may not be able to certify shutter-speed correctness or test with film). In addition, we can't warrant that any such item will be usable with or adaptable to your equipment setup. That said, we love to talk about these things, and welcome the opportunity to answer any questions you may have.

Condition Chart

NOTE: The following descriptions refer to cosmetic condition only. Please refer to individual item descriptions for information on working condition (if applicable). All items have been priced to reflect condition.

EXCELLENT
Essentially like-new condition, with negligible wear (if any), but not necessarily new-old-stock or in-package.

VERY GOOD
Exceptionally nice in every respect. Slight wear only. Collector grade.

GOOD
Moderate/average wear commensurate with the age of the item. May have small flaws and visible wear. Still very nice and attractive.

FAIR
Basically what it sounds like. More than average wear commensurate with the age of the item. May have more noticeable flaws and wear. But still sound and presentable overall.

BARGAIN
A little bit rough in appearance. Significant flaws and wear. We seldom sell items in this category; when we do, it's because their age and importance outweigh condition issues.

AS-IS
In most cases, "as-is" items are suitable for "parts," historical study or creative repurposing only.

Reserves are available for 24 hours. If you need more than 24 hours, please contact us to set up a non-refundable deposit. Please do not reserve an item if you are not 100% sure you will purchase it. Biff & Betty's reserves the right to refuse a “hold” request.
