Steve was excellent to work with. He sent me pictures of the progress and even suggested adding their names to the bowl, which turned out great! Wonderful experience and highly recommend.

Handmade Furniture for Dogs, Chickens, and their Humans.

As a Carpenter, I built my first chair just to give me a place to relax and watch the sunset at the end of my workday. As neighbors would stop by, they’d ask me to build one for them...that's how it all started. Handmade. Everyday.

My company is named after the logging and saw mill company owned and operated by my Dad and my Uncles: Big Creek Lumber Company.

How I approach life at BCM is simple:

Be ready to be surprised by the days’ events.
Choose to enjoy each day a little more.
Make plans for the next adventure.

In addition to woodworking, I also raise chickens (egg layers), mill my own flour and bake my biscuits from scratch. I cook almost exclusively with cast iron.

I built my 1st bookshelf at 14. I learned when I combined the art of design with the shaping of material, worth and value was produced in both product and person. My path was clear.
