On line this ring looked like a delicate organic creation suitable for my daughter's birthday, who is living in Sweden. So it was sent promptly from the creator and my daughter also received a bonus ring! I have seen it now over the internet live and it is very fitting for my daughter and she is pleased.Thank you!

My Passion for Making Jewelry
I have always been crafty. I grew up with my grandmother almost in the forest. The wild animals and the forest never scared us. She teached me painting, crocheting, sewing from a very early age.
After the first years in school I moved to a small community to continue school. But the forest and grandmother were still very important for me. During my education I learnt to make my own cloths and honestly I liked that much more than learning but I made an effort and learnt languages, traveled and ended up in Stockholm where I worked as a secretary at a law firm. But never left craft, restauring furniture, ceramic, sewing were things that I liked very much.
The years in the forest gave me a strong love for animals. I have two recued cats. I support WSAB and WWF.
When I started belly dancing it really turned my life upside down. Loved it, made my own dresses and began to make my own jewelry. A friend took me to silversmithing classes and I loved that too. So I started to buy tools and continued at home. Today I have rather good equipment and supply for jewelry making and I really love it. I still take lessons in silversmithing but I quitted belly dancing. I am happy that I made it, it took me to Kairo and Beirut and I met so many interesting friends and inspired me to start jewelry making.
My jewelry is mostly inspired by the nature. Butterflies, dragonflies, flowers are some of my favorites. Precious and semiprecious stones are lovely but crystal and glass beads also inspire me. And treasures from market fleas, there are so many lovely jewelry work that luckily have been saved. I also love experimenting with strict and simple shapes and designs, finding new lines.
The real challenge when opening the Etsy shop was the computer and taking photographs. Slowly I have learnt more and more and now I feel comfortable with my shop. I have so much to thank my lovely Etsy team for, so much support from them.
